*1st violin = Momiji (obviously)

*2nd violin = Tohru (always playing 2nd fiddle, supporting others)

*Viola = Kyo (always kind of hidden and unnoticed)

*Cello = Yuki (strong lead in the lower register)

*Bass = Haru (Low pitched voice, and he'd totally be a bass player in an emo band)

*Oboe = Kisa (on the soft/quiet side)

*Clarinet = Rin (can get a little wild and has lots of runs)

*Flute = Ayame (flamboyant, leading windplayer)

*Piccolo = Kureno (the small bird)

*Bassoon = Hanajima (low, dark, hidden in the shadows)

*French Horn = Hatori (diligent, stalwart, gets the job done)

*Trombone = Shigure (comic relief, full of slides)

*Trumpet = Hiro (can be loud and demanding, higher pitched)

*Tuba = Uotani (boomingly loud, can pack a punch)

*Drums = Ritsu (because the monkey would pound on the drums)

*Percussion = Kagura (can also be loud, booming, wants to be the center of attention when it is her turn)

*Conductor = Akito (obviously)
