Bonus Manga is the first bonus chapter, the last chapter of the first volume, and the overall eight chapter of Fruits Basket Another.
Summary[]
It is New Year's Eve at the Sohma compound, and Hajime Sohma and Mutsuki Sohma talk about their parents' past and how it has affected them.
Plot[]
Hajime asks Mutsuki if his parents had already told him about the Zodiacs Curse, since he had just heard about it from his parents the same day. Mutsuki reveals that his parents told him two years ago, and Hajime is briefly disappointed that Mutsuki heard about it first.
Hajime then explains that he was shocked about the revelation and couldn't believe it first, but as he remembered his father's nervous smile whenever someone pointed out that Hajime was looking more and more like him, and when a woman in the Sohma compound told him that she hopes he doesn't turn into a monster; all of it added up.
Hajime was glad that his parents told him and Mutsuki feels the same. He tells Hajime that it must be really special for their fathers to see the two of them being close friends and being side by side, especially in consideration to their father's initial antagonized relationship. This moment fades into a depiction of Hajime and Mutsuki playing together as children, with silhouettes of Tohru, Yuki, Kyo, and Machi watching over them.
Sora Sohma and an unknown boy then interrupts their thoughts and tells to them to hurry, since New Year's about to start. As the two boys go to join them, Mutsuki asks Hajime if he'll attend Kaibara Municipal High School. Hajime says he is thinking about it, since he wants to see which environment his parents spent their time in to become the people they are today. Mutsuki then asks Hajime where he would live and suggests him to live together with him, but Hajime comically declines.
