He is the cousin of Tohru Honda.
Appearance[]
He is a tall young man who wears rectangular-shaped glasses with black frames over his dark brown eyes. He has black-bluish hair which reaches down to his nape, along with long bangs framing her face and forming an “M-shape”. During her appearance, he is seen wearing a dark green shirt and grey pants.
Personality[]
He appears to be a calm, charismatic, and hardworking young man, who has hopes and dreams for the future. On the other hand, he is ignorant and very blunt towards Tohru, and immediately assumed the worst of her when she briefly moved back home. When things don’t go his way, he seems to have a rather immature and comical reaction to it, similarly to his mother.[1]
Story Overview[]
Tohru’s cousin and his family were planning to move in with his grandfather, but before so, their family wanted to renovate the whole house first. Because of this, his grandfather lived with him and his family for the time being.[2]

After the renovations were done, Tohru’s cousin and his family move into their newly-renovated home, along with his grandfather. Tohru also leaves the Sohmas in order to live with her family. The first day after Tohru moves in, her aunt tells her that she had a detective agency to look into the Sohma household where Tohru was living with three males. She explains that since her son dreams of becoming a police officer, it would be troublesome if someone in the family had a criminal record. He then smugly asks Tohru if she had done any “indecent things” at the Sohmas, but is immediately slapped his grandfather due to his rude comment. After Tohru expresses her wish to return back to the Sohmas and her grandfather encourages her to do so, Yuki Sohma and Kyo Sohma arrives to bring her back to their house. Upon seeing Yuki, Tohru’s cousin becomes flustered by Yuki’s beauty and realizes that he is one of the boys Tohru lived with. When he refers to Tohru as “Tohru-chan”, Yuki flicks his forehead and tells him to not call her as such while calling him a sleazebag. Afterward, Tohru’s cousin and his mother seem to be exhausted from the whole ordeal[1]
During New Year’s Eve, he is mentioned to be on a family vacation in Hawaii.[3]
